DJ, producer and club organiser Øivind Sjøvoll returns to his ever-welcoming home label to deliver the latest in a string of utterly engaging sonic delights. Following on from the recent 'Fake Fur' release, Kohib once again teams with the distinctive vocal flair of Helle Larsen to present the third exquisite morsel lifted from his hotly anticipated 'Today's Tales Of Tomorrow' album, which is due for release early next year. Once again blurring genre lines, Kohib serves a richly atmospheric track – with smokey hip hop beats combined with dreamy instrumentation and infectious atmospherics while Larsen's sweet-yet-provocative vocals add focus to the music's mysterious haze. Magnetic chords, levitating solos, and deeply-weighted bass provide the bed for the memorable lyrics to discreetly charm the captivated listener.

As ever, the production quality is supreme, and – as with the two singles that preceded it – 'Sidewalk Confesions' leaves us purring with the prospect of diving deep into the forthcoming long-player.

Kohib is an important member of the electronic music scene in Tromsø in the far north of Norway. He is equally a club organizer, DJ, and producer. His debut was on the Prima Norsk 3 compilation in 2005, followed by an album, a remix-album, and a string of highly regarded EPs and singles.
